Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges

Leave Marrakech with your private driver and travel across the High Atlas Mountains toward southern Morocco. The route follows the Tizi n’Tichka road, with opportunities for scenic viewpoints and short stops before reaching Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s best-known fortified villages, and enjoy views across the surrounding valley. Continue to Ouarzazate, known for its kasbah architecture and long association with international film productions. From Ouarzazate, travel through the Valley of Roses and continue toward valle del Dadesy and Dades Gorges. The landscape gradually changes from mountain passes and kasbahs to palm groves, rocky valleys and traditional villages. Dades Gorges – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga

Wake early if you would like to watch sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes before breakfast. After leaving Merzouga, begin the long return journey toward Marrakech. Travel through Rissani and continue west through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco toward the valle del Draay and Agdz. This region is known for long stretches of palm groves, traditional adobe villages, kasbahs and dramatic mountain scenery. Continue toward Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech. Depending on timing, road conditions and the stops already made earlier in the tour, your driver can include practical breaks and scenic viewpoints along the route. Arrival in Marrakech is normally in the evening, with drop-off at your hotel, riad or another agreed location. Approximate driving time: around 9–10 hours, excluding meals, visits and breaks.
