Itinerary for 3 days Marrakech to Merzouga tour

Our Sahara desert tour begins at 8.30 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m. on the last day.

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - VALLEY OF ROSES - DADES GORGES:

We will arrive in the historic and well-known kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, where numerous Hollywood films have been shot. We continue to Ouarzazate to see the Atlas Cinema Studios. We continue to Skoura and then Kelaa M'Gouna, both of which are well-known for their rose products. Our journey continues along the "Road of 1000 Kasbahs." We will arrive at Dades Valley later today. We spend the night at a nearby riad/hotel and have supper.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - TODGHA GORGES - ERFOUD - DESERT IN MERZOUGA:

The Morocco private desert trip continues as we explore the valley of Dades gorges, then Todgha GORGES, and finally Jorf and Erfoud, where we will look for fossils. We continue to Rissani and the Merzouga desert. We are preparing for a desert camel journey here. We will be led by an expert desert camel guide as we explore Merzouga's sand dunes. We will eat a Berber meal beside the campfire once we get in the desert at Merzouga camp. We will listen to Berber music and spend the night in desert tents at Merzouga.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA - RISSANI - AGDZ - MARRAKECH

Our desert camel guide will get you up early on the last day of our Morocco vacation to enjoy the sunrise. Following that, we rode camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast, we continue on to Ouarzazate, crossing through the Draa valley on the way. We travel across the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass and arrive in Marrakech late at night.
