Today we're traveling to Fes. We'll start with the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis before heading to Meknes to view the city. DAY 3: FES GUIDED TOUR

You'll be walking through the alleyways of Fes's medina today. We'll also visit the Jewish district, the Royal Palace, the well-known tanneries, and the Quaraouine mosque. This mosque is often regarded as the world's first university. This evening, we ate dinner and slept at a modest hotel in Fes.

DAY 4: FES - IFRANE - MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA

Today we go to Ifrane, Morocco's Switzerland, and stop at Azrou, a Berber town in the cedar forest. We continue on to Midelt and Erfoud. We stop at Rissani before continuing on to Merzouga, where we will prepare for a camel ride in the desert. This desert adventure will be accompanied by an experienced camel guide. On our camel ride, we will explore the desert, and when we arrive at Merzouga camp, we will have supper around a campfire while listening to Berber music, and we will spend the night in the desert camp.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA - RISSANI - TODGHA GORGES - DADES GORGES

At Merzouga Sahara, we will see the desert sunrise today. We will ride camels and then proceed to Rissani, Tinghir, and the Todgha GORGES canyon. We climbed into one of Morocco's highest and narrowest valleys. We travel to the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night in a tiny hotel with dinner.

DAY 6: DADES GORGES - AIT BENHADDOU - TIZI N'TICHKA - MARRAKECH

We begin our 8-day private holiday from Casablanca by driving to Ouarzazate. The Way of the Thousand Kasbahs is what we're on. We'll take a diversion to Kalaat M'Gouna to collect some of the famous rosewater. We'll visit the Ouarzazate film studio and a small kasbah in the city.
