Our desert trip starts at 8.30 am and finish on the last day at 7pm.

We travel from Fes to Ifrane, then to Midelt, and finally to the Sahara desert. We also go to Erfoud fossils and the Rissani market. After that, we'll visit Dades, Ait Benhaddou, and Marrakech.

DAY 1 : FES - MIDLET - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA DESERT

We take you up from your accommodation and transport you to the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, Morocco's Switzerland. In Azrou, we continue our Morocco trip by travelling through the cedar trees. We can see local monkeys in the forest from here. We travel to Midelt, a town known for its mineral products and apples. After that, we travel via Ziz Valley. We'll also go to Erfoud, which is known for its fossil goods. We travel to Rissani and then to Merzouga, where we spend the night in a desert hotel.

DAY 2 : MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL TREK AND NIGHT IN MERZOUGA CAMP

Today, we do a 4WD desert excursion to Merzouga. We'll go to the Khamlia settlement after breakfast. We will meet and listen to local Gnawa people, musicians, and learn about their traditional music while we are here. In the Merzouga desert, we meet and drink tea with local Nomad households. We'll go through sand dunes to discover the enormous desert of Erg Chebbi. In Rissani, a fortified hamlet, we also visit the typical souk. We are preparing for a camel excursion in the Sahara as we go through Merzouga. You will embark on a camel trek with a native Merzouga camel guide to experience Morocco's sand dunes. We arrive to Merzouga desert camp, where we will eat Berber food, listen to Berber music, and sleep in Merzouga desert tents.

DAY 3 : MERZOUGA DESERT - RISSANI - TODRA GORGES - DADES GORGES

Today we return to Mezouga on camel and enjoy the desert dawn in Merzouga. Then we go to Tinghir to visit the Todra Canyons, Morocco's tallest and narrowest gorges. We travel to the Dades Valley to see the "monkey toes" rock formations. We'll stay in a local riad or hotel for the night, with supper and breakfast included.

DAY 4 : DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATTE - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH

We tour the adjacent "Kalaat Mgouna," which is known for its rose products, after breakfast. We drive through a thousand Kasbahs on our way to Ouarzazate, dubbed "Africa's Hollywood." In the city, we visit a small movie studio and a kasbah. We also visit the local kasbah in Ait Benhaddou. It is Morocco's biggest kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gladiator, The Mummy, and Lawrence of Arabia are just a few of the well-known films that were shot here. To get to Marrakech, we travel across the Tizi n' Tichka mountain pass in the High Atlas Mountains.
